This is the Teach Project -
Teachers are in trouble! all over the country, teachers are losing their hours, classes, or jobs. Complaints about how kids are doing in school continue to go up while Teachers budgets and salaries continue to go down.
We put the entire weight of the issue on teachers, but continue to take the tools away from them. I’m not sure what I would do in that position. I’m not a teacher. I started this to help out my friends in the field who are fighting the good fight. I do have my own experience in working with kids, my background as a youth is 10 years as a camp counselor. I’ve worked at a youth rehab and helped teens fight addiction.
So this is the Teach Project. A resource for learning and teaching. We want to be able to support eachother in our teaching efforts, but also share our lessons with the world. Because let’s be honest, teachers teach because it’s in them to do so, not because it’s the best career move. ha ha.
So, keep teaching and keep learning.
